Context
Language schools manage students, teachers, sessions, attendance and payments in spreadsheets and messaging apps. Each school needs its own space, without ever seeing the others' data.
The problem
Too many separate tools, sensitive data shared without control, and invoicing done by hand every month.
What was built
- One space per school, with data isolated from the others
- 4 roles: super administrator, school administrator, teacher, student
- Courses, sessions, enrolments and attendance in one place
- Invoicing, subscriptions and online payment with Stripe
- Certificates generated as PDF and email notifications
What it changes
- Everyone sees only what concerns them
- Less data entry and fewer manual reminders
- A foundation ready to welcome new schools without starting over
Architecture
- Spring Boot REST API organised by business domain: users, schools, courses, students, finance, notifications
- Angular 21 front end with standalone components, state managed with NgRx (actions, reducers, effects, selectors)
- PostgreSQL with versioned Flyway migrations, Redis cache
- OpenAPI / Swagger documentation, monitoring through Spring Boot Actuator

- Role-based access control on every endpoint
